I know I’m not the only blogger out there with out a niche. I don’t even swear.Īnd so sometimes I feel like I’m floating alone with my extreme mainstreamness in a sea of bloggy controversy, clinging to my little life preserver of sarcasm and irony.
I don’t do any of that off-the-beaten path parenting stuff. Honestly, it’s a lot of work, and I’m lazy. I happen to like Kraft Macaroni and Chemical. But I can’t wait to put them on that bus, and have a few quiet hours every day. I cried about it for four days, then went out and bought some bottles. Tried it, it didn’t work, and it caused too many tears. But I don’t go around hugging them either. I don’t go out of my way to cut down trees or anything. The only thing going green in my house is last week’s leftovers in the fridge. There are crafty moms and foodie moms and Disney moms.
